On a brief but important personal note, my priorities are my relationship with Christ, my husband Brandon, our children, and our extended family and community.

As for the professional side, I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Western Oregon University, complete with an ESOL endorsement, and a Master of Science in Education as a K-12 Literacy Specialist from Western Oregon University. I also hold a current state of Oregon Professional Teaching License. These credentials reflect my deep commitment to fostering effective and inclusive learning environments. With over 10 years of teaching experience, including extensive work with at-risk youth, I have honed my skills in curriculum coaching and development, as well as literacy coaching.

When I began homeschooling my oldest, I noticed a significant gap in resources for parents starting their own homeschooling journeys. Amidst the polished social media feeds, I saw a need for real, practical support for moms who were embarking on this new adventure and seeking genuine guidance and tools to build a realistic, attainable, and sustainable homeschooling life.

In response, I dedicated myself to filling this gap by founding Faithful Roots; a local co-op where I teach every week, an online community filled with practical wisdom, and developing a homeschooling mentorship course. I began creating resources and offering support that focuses on real-life challenges and solutions rather than the idealized versions often seen online. My goal is to provide practical advice, encouragement, and actionable strategies to help families create effective and enjoyable homeschooling experiences.
